Training courses for teams and professionals, in Europe or at your organisation

Inesto's training catalogue brings together five-day courses on wellbeing at work, conflict and facilitation, territorial regeneration and design, AI and communication, taught on location in Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Slovenia, Poland and Sweden, or at your own organisation if you would like us to come to you. Each course is led by someone who does that work for a living, and each one is built around the real situations participants bring from their own jobs.

There are three ways to take part. You can book a place on an open edition, on your own or with a few colleagues. Your company or organisation can book a whole course for its team, at your premises or at one of our venues, on the dates you choose. If your organisation takes part in Erasmus+, you can also fund staff places through KA1 mobility.

How the courses work

Every course starts from real cases. Before the week begins, each participant chooses a situation from their own work, such as a team that has stopped talking, a consultation that went nowhere or a brand nobody follows. On the first morning, these cases go on the table, and the trainer builds the five days around them. Theory comes in when a case calls for it, so most of the 25 hours go into practice on problems people will meet again at work, with feedback from the trainer and from colleagues in other organisations and countries.

Open editions are planned for groups of up to twenty, a size that leaves room for everyone's case. The two courses in Scopello take twelve people, because that is how many guests the residence can host. Courses booked for a single team start from six participants and can be larger.

The courses

Wellbeing at work

Wellbeing in Practice, in Ibiza, is a week on stress and how to work with it, for the people who look after a team and rarely get looked after themselves. Virginia Bailon, psychodramatist, coach and trainer, opens with mindfulness and the physiology of stress, then takes the group into the island's protected landscape for breathwork, somatic movement and nature-based practice. Coaching then brings it back to work, with each participant working on the situation in their own organisation.

Nourished & Regulated, in Annecy, looks at how food, light, sleep and the rhythm of the working day shape energy and attention. With Amy Charnay (MS, CNS, RYT), Certified Nutrition Specialist and clinical herbalist, the group works on nutrition for energy and mood without restrictive diets, on circadian and seasonal rhythms, on recognising the early signs of burnout in yourself and in a team, and on short regulation practices that fit into an ordinary working day.

Rooted in Nature, also in Annecy with Amy Charnay, is about running learning outdoors with adult groups. The group goes through what the research on forest therapy shows, practises the structure of a guided sensory walk and learns to plan for weather, risk and accessibility, and each participant designs and leads a session of their own.

The Botanical Toolkit, in Scopello on the Sicilian coast, is a hands-on week on plants for wellbeing. With Amy Charnay the group learns to recognise safe plants, prepares teas and infusions, blends aromatic mixes and studies contraindications, tasting and discussing everything it makes.

Conflict and facilitation

Sitting in the Fire, in Porto, is about the moment a meeting turns tense and everyone looks at the person running it. Vinicius Ramos, an intercultural mediator who has trained facilitators across Europe for more than ten years, works with the conflicts participants bring, from a team that stopped talking to a community meeting that split in two. The week draws on Arnold Mindell's Process Work, Restorative Circles and Nonviolent Communication, looks at how culture and rank play out in a mixed group, and ends with each participant facilitating a real case in front of the others.

The Restorative Classroom, in Porto or at your school, brings the same approach into schools. With Vinicius Ramos, teachers and school leaders learn to tell conflict, harm and bullying apart and to respond in proportion, practise restorative circles at classroom scale, set up peer mediation with pupils and rehearse the difficult conversations with families and colleagues.

Slow Facilitation, in Lublin, Poland, teaches graphic facilitation from a blank page, including to people who are sure they cannot draw. Illustrator Agata Sobiepan-Comer starts with a visual alphabet built from five shapes and moves on to recording a discussion live and designing canvases for a participatory process. The group also records a real consultation with local stakeholders.

Territorial regeneration and design

Paola Balduzzi, architect and founder of Inesto, leads these courses on the work she does with public administrations across Italy and the Mediterranean, where she has delivered more than €2.8M in EU and PNRR projects. Territory & Co-Design, Designing Real Impact and Spaces for Women run in Milan, Genoa, Palermo, Lisbon, Annecy, Paris and Stockholm, and Spaces that Regulate in Milan and Annecy.

Territorial Regeneration & Co-Design starts on the ground, reading a territory through its buildings and the people who use them. The group then works on who needs to be in the room, what can honestly be promised to them and how to shape a co-design process so that it leads to a decision and a project that can be funded. The group also takes a real regeneration project apart, including what went wrong.

Designing Real Impact is about the choices that decide what a project leaves behind. The course looks at selecting partners on evidence they can produce and at following the money a project spends in the territory that hosts it. The group then works on bringing women producers and suppliers into the supply chain and on designing verification before a project starts, and closes by studying one of Inesto's own projects, including the decisions that did not hold.

Spaces that Regulate, co-led with Amy Charnay, looks at how light, acoustics, density, materials and plants affect attention and comfort in offices, schools and public space. Paola teaches the architectural reading of space and Amy the evidence on plant compounds and scent, and the two are then applied together to one open and one enclosed site.

Spaces for Women reads public space through the people it was designed for and the people it leaves out. The course works on data and documented cases, from lighting, routes and transport to the gap between how safe a place feels and how safe it is, and on care-centred urbanism, and the group runs a co-design session on a real site.

AI and communication

AI Literacy & Critical Thinking, in Treviso or Ljubljana, gives a team a shared understanding of the AI tools it already uses. Giovanni, a computer engineer and former Global Marketing Strategy Manager at Cisco Systems, explains in plain language how current systems work and where bias and error come from, works on ethics and on the decisions that should stay with a person, and then works hands-on with the group on the tools they use every day. No technical background is needed.

Creative Content & Branding, in Scopello, is for the person who looks after an organisation's communication. Photographer and social media manager Delfina Conti runs the shooting sessions outdoors in natural light, on a phone or a camera, then moves on to filming and editing short video and to a visual identity and templates the rest of the team can keep using.

Three ways to take part

Bring a course to your company or organisation

Any course in the catalogue can be booked by a single company, public body or association for its own people. Our trainers come to your premises, or your team comes to one of our venues, on the dates that suit you, and we adapt the programme to your sector and to the situations your people are dealing with. In-company editions start from six participants and are quoted at a daily rate, so the price follows the days of training and preparation involved.

Training a team together gives it something individual courses rarely do. Everyone learns the same method at the same time and practises it on situations they share, so the vocabulary and the habits are still there once the week is over.

The catalogue also answers needs most organisations already have. Managers and HR teams who handle tense meetings and conflict between colleagues work on exactly that in Sitting in the Fire, and teams under sustained pressure find in Wellbeing in Practice and Nourished & Regulated a shared way to look after their energy. For organisations that have adopted AI tools, AI Literacy & Critical Thinking supports the staff training the EU AI Act asks of organisations that use AI. Sustainability, CSR and procurement teams use Designing Real Impact to check what their partners and suppliers leave in a territory, and facility and workplace managers use Spaces that Regulate to plan offices where people can concentrate.

Book a place on an open edition

Professionals, freelancers and small groups of colleagues can book individual places on the open editions, where they work alongside people from other organisations and countries. A place costs €1,045 plus VAT when it is invoiced to a company, or €1,275 including VAT for private individuals, and covers the full programme, the materials and a certificate of attendance. Travel and accommodation are arranged by participants, except in Scopello, where full board at the residence can be added to the booking.

Fund a place through Erasmus+ KA1

If your organisation takes part in Erasmus+, your staff's places can be funded through KA1 mobility, under an accreditation or a short-term project approved by your National Agency. The grant covers the course fee in full, together with travel and subsistence. KA1 funds training abroad, so staff choose a course held outside their own country, and with editions in seven countries the choice is wide. Inesto SRL SB is an accredited Erasmus+ organisation (OID E10365283) and prepares what your application and final report need.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need Erasmus+ accreditation to take part?

No. Erasmus+ is one of three ways to pay for a course. Companies, public bodies, associations and individual professionals book directly, and they join the same courses with the same trainers.

Can a course be run at our company?

Yes. Every course can be delivered at your premises or as a private edition at one of our venues, with dates and content adapted to your organisation. Write to info@inesto.it with the course you have in mind and the size of your group, and we will send you a proposal.

How many people can take part?

Open editions are planned for up to twenty participants, and the courses in Scopello for twelve, the capacity of the residence. In-company editions start from six people and can be organised for larger groups.

How much does a course cost?

A place on an open edition costs €1,045 plus VAT for companies or €1,275 including VAT for individuals. In-company editions are priced at a daily rate on request. Participants funded through Erasmus+ KA1 pay €400 including VAT, which the grant covers.

Can Erasmus+ pay for the course?

Yes, for organisations taking part in Erasmus+ KA1 through an accreditation or a short-term project. The grant covers the course fee together with travel and subsistence, as long as the course takes place in a country other than the one where the sending organisation is based.

Do participants need previous experience?

No. Every course starts from the participants' own work, and none requires earlier training in its subject, the AI and illustration courses included.

When do the courses run?

Open editions run mostly from spring 2027. In-company editions are scheduled on the dates you choose.
